Dux faces off with one of the common enemies (Butcher)

There are multiple types of Enemies in Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden.

Combat Overview[]

Enemies follow the same tactical rules as players but can be damaged by their abilities and those of fellow combatants. For example, a pyro ghoul can fall on their own Molotov, catching themselves on fire, or damage another ghoul who is in the way of a thrown Molotov.

Enemy Types[]

Below is a list of the ones we currently know about and their abilities.

Ghouls[]

  • Pyro - Grenadier-style enemies who throw Molotovs (fire bombs).
  • Marauder - Ranged enemies that use a pistol to attack stalkers.
  • Shaman - Use a loud horn to summon reinforcements.
  • Butcher - Melee enemies that use weapons such as crowbars and axes to attack the Stalkers.
  • Hunter - Ranged enemies that use rifles to shoot Stalkers from afar.
  • Tank - Harder to kill than standard ghouls; can charge through walls and knock out Stalkers.
  • Zone Dogs - Mutant dogs who are typically found in groups. Will bark to their pack for backup.
