He is initially the antagonist of the series of Seed of Evil.

Pripp figured out the source of these vines: a man, Goran. He's a mutant with the power to control plants like Selma, but more powerful, more reckless.
Once, Goran got into an argument with the Elder and attacked him. We threw Goran out of the Ark.
He vanished into the Zone, vowing revenge on us for spurning him.
Journey to the Under-Ark[]
From his notes, after being kicked out from Ark, he travelled far north until he stumble upon a isolated Under-Ark.

The Stalkers are nasty bees who continue to sting. Feed on the Stalkers! foul flesh and create them anew in my image. Find the Stalkers! Feed them to the tree!
Goran
The Stalkers managed to tracked Goran to Frozen City, assuming he is the one behind the red vine infestation. After the defeat of Goran , he crumbled into pile of ashes.
