The Molotov is a grenade weapon in Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden.
The Molotov cocktail (or simply Molotov as it is known in-game), is an improvised incendiary grenade, made of an old bottle, filled with a flammable liquid (called grog in-game), and fitted with a rag. When thrown it deals minor damage immediately, but its main strength is that it deals additional damage over time. Enemies hit by a molotov will also have a flame animation placed on them.
It can be thrown by the Stalkers and Pyro to do fire damage to an enemy. Friendly characters can also take damage if they are near the target area.

A bottle of extremely potent grogg (containing even more toxic chemicals than usual) with a scrap of cloth in the top. When lit and thrown, generates a large spread of flames which stick to anything in the affected area. - CHRONICLER SEPTIM
