The Slinger is a long-range rifle in Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. Known locations:
- In a chest guarded by the level 45 Zone Dogs in Izza and Fala.
- In a chest guarded by a tank in Scraplands.

Appearance[]
The Slinger's appearance changes over time to become more refined and machined. However, it always appears as a battered, long-barreled hunting rifle.
- Level 1: The Slingers level 1 model is in poor condition. It takes the appearance of an almost improvised-looking single-shot hunting rifle. It's stock and fore grip is heavily wrapped with cloth, and the Slingers 'bolt' is a crudely affixed lever on the side.Its bolt is also half pushed-out, with the spring partially showing.
- Level 2: At this point the Slingers appearance becomes far better maintained, now sporting an actual bolt, a slot for a scope, and a much cleaner texture overall. Its barrel also appears more machined-looking.
- Level 3: At Level 3, the Slingers appearance doesn't appear to change, still sporting a battered but functional long arm appearance.

- Level II: +1 Damage, +1 Crit Damage
- Level III: +2 Damage, +2 Crit Damage (does not stack with Level II)
- Ranger: +1 Damage, +1 Crit Damage (stacks with weapon upgrade)
