The Ark is a safe haven for stalkers in Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden.
The Ark is a settlement inhabited by mutants. Their guiding leader is called The Elder, a charismatic but also somewhat eccentric old man. The Ark itself is built upon some kind of bridge, which makes it an excellent fortress protecting its inhabitants from outer threats.
This Ark is located on top of ruined suspension bridge across a raging river. The settlers have built a thriving settlement on the bridge's deck, primarily built out of patchworks of scavenged metal and fortified with makeshift structures. It is a massive, fortified structure, as it is located in a strategically defensible position. The only way for entrance is thru the elevator lift. This is known home to a diverse community of survivors, including mutants, remnant of humans after the Collapse.
This is the place where players will go to pick up mission, replenish their consumables and upgrade and weapons, unlock additional artifact skills, and seek advices from Elder. Scrap, the in-game currency, is used for trading and acquiring goods and services within the Ark.
It is run by a mysterious man called "The Elder".
During Mutant Year Zero : Seed of Evil , the sudden disappearances of the Elder forces Pripp to become the leader of the Ark.
